Enhancements to the ADO Connection Dialog

In the General section of the Edit ADO Connection dialog, the various properties that make up the ADO connection string are now displayed in table format underneath the connection string. If you need to make changes, you can edit fields directly in this table instead of needing to rebuild the connection string.

Editing an ADO connection displays the list of connection string properties as well as several tabs of configuration options

To enhance security, if you choose to specify a password in the ADO connection string, it is now hidden from view in the user interface. Both the Password property and the password in the connection string are replaced with the text "<hidden>". Unlike the other connection string properties, you will need to open the Data Link Properties dialog using the ellipsis button in order to change the password.
